Steelers RB James Conner expects to be a game-time decision vs. Colts

Late in Monday’s game, Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner suffered a shoulder injury. Considering the game was already in hand, it was the worst possible luck Conner was still on the field. But because of an injury to backup Benny Snell, Conner was forced into action in garbage time and now is dealing with an AC joint sprain.

Conner spoke on Tuesday and he will be limited this week in practice. He expects to be a game-time decision on Sunday. There’s no word on how healthy Benny Snell is after suffering a knee injury but head coach Mike Tomlin did indicate Jaylen Samuels is 100 percent and will be ready to go. If Conner cannot play this week, look for Samuels to take the bulk of the carries.
