It’s never good to be too confident but you have to love the enthusiasm from Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner talking about the Steelers this season. Conner was on the NFL Network talking up his team this week and you can see how this team is focused on making a positive move forward from last season’s disappointment and drama.

There’s no doubt this team is talented. But when Conner says, “we have a great chance of going all the way” we have to pump the breaks a little. This team missed the playoffs last season with a ton of talent. Is divesting themselves from the drama going to be enough to put them over the top? This is the big question.
Every season we see teams who fail to make the playoffs the year before make a big push. Pittsburgh might just be this year’s version if the new pieces on defense come together quickly and Conner, along with the other two running backs can help bring balance on offense.
