The Steelers head into halftime with a commanding 21-0 lead over the Los Angeles Chargers. And it has been because of a dominant performance by the Steelers defense and inspired play by running back James Conner.
Conner has 90 yards of offense in the first half with 39 coming on the ground and 51 more coming on five receptions. Conner also has two total touchdowns, one by ground and one by air.
But we can’t talk about how good Conner was in the first half without talking about how well the Steelers offensive line played. This unit really seems to step up this week with Devlin Hodges at quarterback and shorthanded at running back.
