Steelers QB Mason Rudolph walks off field after massive hit

It was a scary moment for Mason Rudolph and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third quarter. Rudolph took a huge shot to the chin by Ravens safety Earl Thomas and it appeared he was knocked unconscious almost immediately. The team showed obvious emotion on the field as they continued to work on Rudolph.

Medical officials worked on Rudolph for several minutes and even brought out a stretcher and backboard. But Rudolph was able to get up and walk off under his own power for the most part. Without Rudolph the Steelers will have to rely on Devlin Hodges to carry the offense going forward.

The Steelers emergency quarterback is running back Jaylen Samuels. Look for a heavy dose of the run going forward for Pittsburgh.
