Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger on Antonio Brown: ‘He made me a better quarterback’

Over a span of six seasons, no quarterback/wide receiver tandem did what Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown did. The Pittsburgh Steelers got to experience the most productive stretch in NFL history by a wide receiver and a level of chemistry between two players rarely seen in the NFL.

Roethlisberger was on Sirius XM radio and talked about the relationship between him and Brown and gave Brown a ton of credit for the success between them including saying Brown made him a better quarterback.

While we appreciate Roethlisberger being willing to offer this level of praise to Brown, we will find out plenty about both guys this season as they get accustomed to counting on new teammates. In the interview, Roethlisberger seemed excited about his teammates and what they bring. But until it happens on the field, we really have no idea.

The Steelers traded Brown to the Oakland Raiders this offseason and Brown will now adjust to his first NFL season without Roethlisberger to throw him the football.

The question I have is which guy has the toughest transition to life without the other. The easy answer is Brown because every wide receiver depends on their quarterback to get them the football. But the best part is we get to watch it all unfold this season.
