Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger among frontrunners for passing mark in 2019

In 2018, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger led the league in passing yards with 5,129. Roethlisberger also led the league in passing attempts, completions and interceptions. In other words, Roethlisberger threw the ball a ton. Will he do it again in 2019?

Not according to Odds Shark. They put out their odds for which quarterbacks are most likely to lead the NFL in passing yards in 2019. Big Ben isn’t the favorite.

Here are the odds below:

At this point it’s hard to bet against Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for any honors. He and Big Ben were neck and neck for the passing title all season long. With Antonio Brown gone from Pittsburgh, we could see a return to more running the football which could easily dig into Roethlisberger’s passing numbers.

It’s hard to imagine Roethlisberger topping last season but anything is possible. An injury or two could completely change the dynamic of this team.
