The Pittsburgh Steelers will spend the next week in Indianapolis at the NFL scouting combine. This is the league’s best opportunity to get a close look at many of the top NFL draft prospects. The Steelers posted a new YouTube video this week and it was an amazing compilation of combine performances by some of the best Steelers on the roster.
Here’s a rundown of the players in the video.
Ben Roethlisberger | Quarterback
T.J. Watt | Linebacker
Maurkice Pouncey | Center
JuJu Smith-Schuster | Wide receiver
Joe Haden | Cornerback
David DeCastro | Guard
Javon Hargrave | Defensive tackle
The irony isn’t lost on me the compilation did not include running back Le’Veon Bell or wide receiver Antonio Brown. Bell is set to hit free agency in a couple of weeks and has made it very clear he can’t get out of Pittsburgh quickly enough.
But I have to say I’m a little surprised Brown wasn’t included. Despite the fact he’s shown a desire to be traded his combine performance paired the type of player he’s become in the league is something of legend. Nevertheless, the team decided the former sixth-round pick shouldn’t be a part of the video.
