Steelers promote Matt Canada to offensive coordinator

The Pittsburgh Steelers formally announced former quarterbacks coach Matt Canada has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Pittsburgh hired Canada prior to the start of the 2020 season to fill the void at quarterbacks coach and in theory, bring some college innovation to the Steelers offense.

We don’t know how this will impact the offensive philosophy for the coming season or how it will change any offseason plans or Ben Roethlisberger but things should happen pretty quickly once the season wraps up.
