Steelers players share prayers for Mason Rudolph on Twitter

There is nothing more sobering on a football field than to see a player go down the way Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph did on Sunday. Mason took a hit to the jaw by Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas and looked to be unconscious before he hit the ground. Fortunately, after several minutes on the turf, Rudolph as able to get up and due to unfortunate circumstances walked off the field.

After the game several of Rudolph’s teammates took to Twitter to express their concerns for Rudolph. Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner even shared that he spoke to Rudolph on the phone which was a great sign for Rudolph. After the game head coach Mike Tomlin let everyone know he was being treated locally for a concussion and would have an update on Tuesday.
