Steelers players host community leaders and volunteers at Ben-B-Q

The Pittsburgh Steelers are fully entrenched with their training camp right now. But they always have time to give back to the community, especially to those who enrich their community. The Steelers hosted a Ben-B-Q after practice to give back to some of citizens and community leaders who have stepped up with their individual volunteer activities.

Steelers players Ben Roethlisberger, Maurkice Pouncey, Ramon Foster and Alejandro Villanueva spent the afternoon with a group of people selected to be rewarded for the volunteer work they do in the Pittsburgh area.

The Steelers chose individuals who give back to the community to honor at the event, including fans and local community leaders who give straight from the heart. Among those attending were Pittsburgh Police Chief Scott Schubert, along with Officer Anthony Burke, who was one of the first responders at the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting, and Officer Zach Beatty. Also part of the group was Pennsylvania Special Olympian Danielle List.

Check out the pictures and videos below from the event.
