Business is still booming for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team continues to make moves to fill their roster after a rash of significant injuries. First the Steelers sign quarterback Paxton Lynch to fill the team’s third quarterback spot and now Missi Matthews of the team’s official site is reporting the Steelers have placed safety Sean Davis on the reserved/injured list with his injured shoulder.
The move of Davis to the IR times out perfectly with the team trading for Minkah Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick will replace Davis on the 53-man roster and very quickly in the starting lineup.
Davis was the Steelers second-round pick in 2016 and has been part of the starting lineup for most of his three seasons.
