When winless teams square off, it’s hard to get too excited about either team. This week the Pittsburgh Steelers will square off against the Cincinnati Bengals with both teams looking to get their first win of the season. And despite the fact both teams are looking for their first win, it’s hard to say who will win.
The opening betting line at Bet MGM has the Steelers as 4.5-point favorites over the Bengals. Most home teams get a three-point bump just for playing at home so the idea they only get 1.5 points on top of it, you have to wonder how little faith oddsmakers have in the Steelers to turn things around.
Pittsburgh leads the overall series 64-35 but as we’ve seen this season, this is not the Steelers team we’ve grown accustomed to.
