When the Pittsburgh Steelers traded wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Pittsburgh Steelers, many felt like Pittsburgh didn’t get enough in return. But with today’s news, the Steelers have officially won the trade.
According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the Raiders got fed up very quickly with Brown’s recent antics and gave him his wish and released him on Saturday.
Brown is not eligible for waivers so he is free to sign wherever he wants. But the real question is what comes next. What team is going to sign Brown after everything he’s done with the Steelers and Raiders? It will be interesting to see what transpires over the course of the next few days and see if there’s a team willing to take on the massive amount of baggage Brown brings to their team.
