Steelers new safety Minkah Fitzpatrick gets a new number

Minkah Fitzpatrick will wear No. 39 for Steeers

The Pittsburgh Steelers got their new safety and their new safety has a new number. The team updated the team roster and for Minkah Fitzpatrick he will wear No. 39 for the Steelers.

While at Alabama and with the Miami Dolphins, Fitzpatrick wore No. 29. That number is currently being worn by defensive back Kam Kelly and it appears Fitzpatrick either didn’t want to pay Kelly off or couldn’t reach his price to get his old number.

The Steelers are preparing to travel out west to take on the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh is wasting no time getting Fitzpatrick on the field.
