Steelers name LB T.J. Watt team MVP for 2020

The Pittsburgh Steelers players vote for a team MVP every year and for the second season in a row, linebacker T.J. Watt is the winner.

Watt is having a tremendous season. He’s the best pass rusher in the NFL and one of the best all-around linebackers. On the season, Watt leads the league with 15 sacks which is the same amount the entire Tennessee Titans team has in 2020.

In addition, Watt also leads the league with 23 tackles for loss and has 41 quarterback hits. Watt also has 53 total tackles, an interception and two forced fumbles and 73 pressures.

Watt’s entire season has been a build-up to what should be his first Defensive Player of the Year award. The only thing that could hurt him is the fact the Steelers are planning to rest Watt this week against the Cleveland Browns and a guy like Rams DT Aaron Donald could overtake him.
