Steelers make a trade for Ravens DL Chris Wormley

It isn’t often you see a trade among division foes. But according to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the Pittsburgh Steeler and Baltimore Ravens have done it. He is reporting the Steelers are sending a 2021 fifth-round pick to the Ravens for defensive lineman Chris Wormley.

The cost of Wormley is nominal and considering his inconsistent production during his career, it makes sense Baltimore was ready to be done. At this point, he’s probably a longshot to make the 53-man roster with Cam Heyward, Tyson Alualu and Stephon Tuitt all so good at defensive end.

Looking at the move, you might think Wormley is the replacement for Javon Hargrave but nothing about his game screams nose tackle so the Steelers are still going to be looking for someone to fill the void in the middle.
