Steelers LB Vince Williams calls defense ‘the ultimate troll move’

When Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Vince Williams speaks on social media it is usually something everyone should pay attention to. His latest tweets are no different. Williams took to Twitter to drop some truth about the state of the NFL and the defense as jerks when it comes to breaking the formula.

Defense is designed to lose it’s just the nature of our game. The fulcrum is turnovers, making ppl mess up.

Turnovers will always be the great equalizer in the NFL. Teams that can create them, while at the same time not turning the football over will always have a distinct advantage.

Unfortunately for the Steelers, they were among the worst in turnover differential in 2018. The team only created 15 turnovers last season with was No. 29 in the league. And the team’s overall turnover differential was -11.

Hopefully, the offseason additions on defense will help the Steelers’ defense troll offenses all around the NFL. This is a defense who has historically thrived by creating chaos and it would be great to see them get back to it.
