When linebacker Joe Schobert joined the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team assigned him with No. 45. Shortly after posted the tweet above with Schobert in his No. 45 jersey, Schobert came back to let everyone know it is only temporary.
What number will Schobert choose if he does swap jerseys? With the Jacksonville Jaguars, Schobert wore No. 47. Going back to his time with the Cleveland Browns he wore No. 53. 47 is available but it’s unlikely rookie center Kedrick Green is going to part with 53 to Schobert unless there’s some compensation is involved.
Schobert wore No. 58 while he was at the University of Wisconsin but unfortunately for him, he’s not getting Jack Lambert’s jersey number.
