Last week, after the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-26 loss to the Seattle Seahawks we speculated Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree would be hearing from the NFL for his high hit on Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.
And right on time the league announced Dupree was being fined $21,056 for the hit despite the fact the officials didn’t throw a flag on the play. I’m not sure what the officials missed on the play but this hit is pretty much exactly the type of play the NFL is trying to minimize.
In case you forgot about the play here it is below where Dupree gets up too high on a hit of Wilson.
