No one goes scorched earth on their social media for any good reasons. So when we discovered on Monday night Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo had scrubbed his Twitter and Instagram accounts, it made us wonder just how bad his situation is going to get.
Chickillo was arrested over the weekend for a multitude of charges stemming from an altercation with his girlfriend as a Pennsylvania resort. The Steelers have said very little about the situation or their stance on it but based on the personal conduct policy, he could be in line for punishment by the team or the NFL.
