WPXI sports anchor Chase Williams is reporting Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo was arrested over the weekend. According to the report, Chickillo was involved in some sort of altercation with his girlfriend that resulted in charges of Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief and Harassment.
The incident reportedly took place at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
We aren’t going to speculate what this will mean for Chickillo in terms of availability for this week’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Chickillo is the team’s only legitimate backup outside linebacker and while he doesn’t wow on defense he is an excellent special teamer.
