Steelers huge longshots to win AFC North per ESPN

There are many among the Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase who continue to cling to the notion the Steelers still have the ammo to turn their 2019 season around. But according to ESPN Analytics, the chances of the Steelers winning the AFC North are slim and if they lose to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday it will only get worse.

ESPN has the Baltimore Ravens a dominant favorite and rightfully so. Quarterback Lamar Jackson has been tremendous through three games. But the Ravens play the Cleveland Browns this weekend and if Cleveland can upset the Ravens it will create a logjam at the top of the AFC North.

Meanwhile the Steelers will take on the Bengals just trying to get a notch in the win column. If they don’t, the odds of making the playoffs fall to practically zero. Since 1990 exactly one team has made the playoffs after starting 0-4. Not sure the Steelers have the weapons to make it two.
