Steelers HC Mike Tomlin checking out DBs at LSU pro day

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was spotted at the LSU pro day on Friday. The Tigers are always a team with plenty of NFL-caliber talent on the roster so teams come out strong to scout the prospects.

From a Steelers point of view, the LSU draft class is two ends of a very broad spectrum. Here’s the rundown of the LSU prospects the Steelers might be interested in.

Greedy Williams | Cornerback

Devin White | Linebacker

Foster Moreau | Tight end

Ed Alexander | Defensive line

Nick Brossette | Running back

Cole Tracy | Kicker

John Battle | Safety

Kelvin Joseph | Cornerback

Grant Delpit | Safety

Terrence Alexander | Cornerback

Ed Parris | Defensive back

At the top, you have cornerback Greedy Williams and linebacker Devin White. Both guys who would look great as Steelers but would require a trade up to get. Then there is a chasm between those two and the rest of these players.

According to CBS Sports, the next highest-rated prospect from LSU is tight end Foster Moreau who checks in as their No. 167 prospect. LSU had multiple defensive backs at the pro day other than Williams but none of them are any better than late-round picks.
