Steelers GM Kevin Colbert insists they will only trade Antonio Brown if the price is right

Pittsburgh Steelers’ general manager Kevin Colbert spoke to the media at the NFL scouting combine on Wednesday. And he re-affirmed his original point about trading wide receiver Antonio Brown. The Steelers are willing to trade Brown and have received offers but they will not take a discount to do it.

This means unless the Steelers get the pick or package of picks they feel like are worth one of the most dynamic offensive players in the league, Brown will just have to brace up for another season in Pittsburgh.

Colbert noted when it comes to trading a player the caliber of Brown they shouldn’t settle. You cannot fault him for this way of thinking. There’s been a ton of speculation about what Brown’s trade value is but Colbert has given zero insight as to what Pittsburgh is willing to take.

You have to wonder what type of teammate Brown would be if he doesn’t get traded. Brown prides himself on being one of the hardest workers on the team and he typically leaves it all on the field. But would Pittsburgh hold him to the same standard they always have knowing he doesn’t want to be there?
