When the Pittsburgh Steelers square off with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, they will do so with a barebones running back depth chart. The team released its game status report on Friday and James Conner, Benny Snell Jr. and Roosevelt Nix are all out.
In addition, guard Ramon Foster will miss a second game as he remains in the concussion protocol. A new addition to the injury report is wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. He was limited in practice with a foot injury but he indicated it was just precautionary and he is playing on Sunday.
Without Conner and Snell, it will be Jaylen Samuels and Trey Edmunds making up the entire running back depth chart. Last week Edmunds had 73 yards rushing on 13 carries and Samuels caught 13 passes for 73 receiving yards.
