Steelers G Ramon Foster on Mike Tomlin contract: ‘I think it’s awesome’

The Pittsburgh Steelers have begun to arrive at training camp and the big news as they show up to Saint Vincent College is the one-year contract extension the Steelers announced for head coach Mike Tomlin. One of the first players to arrive at camp was guard Ramon Foster who was asked about the extension.

Foster didn’t hide his excitement for the signing and really drove the point home about consistency and why this is so vital in a head coach.

Tomlin and Foster have been together for the last 11 seasons and so when Foster says he appreciates what Tomlin brings to the table you have to listen. While many NFL players deal with a revolving door at their head coach spot, Foster understand the comfort of the knowing every year who your head coach is going to be.
