You might not have noticed but fullback Roosevelt Nix is still on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster. Nix didn’t play a single offensive snap on Sunday against the New England Patriots but somewhere in his 18 special teams reps, Nix hurt his knee.
Head coach Mike Tomlin spoke to the media on Tuesday and indicated Nix has a knee injury and could miss several weeks. This could have an impact on Pittsburgh’s coverage teams but Nix seems to have zero impact on the offensive gameplan.
The Steelers are back home this week and will take on the Seattle Seahawks. Pittsburgh was trounced by the Patriots 33-3 on the road in Week One.
