Steelers employees plan to return to facilities on Tuesday

The NFL has started opening up and the Pittsburgh Steelers are ready to get to work. Pittsburgh Steelers Director of Communication Burt Lauten released a statement indicating the team will open up facilities on Tuesday, May 18.

We will begin the process of opening our facilities on Tuesday, May 19, with a limited number of staff being permitted in our buildings. Health and safety of our employees will continue to be our priority as we phase up to the fully-allowed staff level.

As with everything related to the re-opening of businesses, the Steelers will need to follow social distancing guidelines and follow guidelines to ensure they are carrying on business the safest way possible.

This is the next step in the Steelers getting back to business. There is no timeline on when players will be able to return to the team facilities. This will be a gradual process but it is certainly a step in the right direction for everyone missing football.
