Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger agree to new 3-year contract

According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Pittsburgh Steelers have reached an agreement on a contract keeping Roethlisberger with the team through the 2021 season. Financial figures have yet to be reported, but the extension should make Roethlisberger one of the highest-paid players in the NFL.

According to Steelers beat writer Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, this will be a new three-year contract as opposed to a two-year extension reported by Schefter.
