Steelers add WR Brandon Reilly, waive CB Alexander Myres

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced two roster moves on Wednesday. Pittsburgh reported they claimed former Detroit Lions wide receiver Brandon Reilly off of waivers and to make room on the 90-man roster have released cornerback Alexander Myres. Pittsburgh is currently wrapping up their first week of training camp.

Myres was currently on the non-injury illness and didn’t figure into the team’s plans at cornerback. The Steelers are Reilly’s fourth NFL team since coming into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2017. The former Nebraska star has spent time with the Lions, Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys. Reilly doesn’t have an NFL catch in a regular-season game.
