Steelers add 2 players to 90-man roster

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced two roster moves on Friday. The team has signed linebacker Robert Spillane and running back Malik Williams to their 90-man offseason roster.

Spillane played his college ball at Western Michigan. He made the Tennessee Titans roster after a rookie tryout and was on the Titans’ active roster for two games before being released.

Williams is from Louisville. He never saw many reps at running back but averaged an impressive 7.9 yards per carry on 86 touches over two seasons.

These are players Pittsburgh has to add in order to round out their 90-man roster for the start of the new season. Both players are longshots to make the final roster but it seems every season there are a handful of guys who impressed enough to stick around.
