A huge website which lets web users buy and download video games experienced technical difficulties tonight.
Steam is the latest site to suffer problems after Halifax and other bank websites appeared to crash earlier .
More than 1,600 people reported an error message on Steam - just as it had introduced its Halloween sale 2019.
Out of those affected, some 42% of users were having login problems while 34% had issues with the Steam website.
Most of these users were in Europe, but some lived in the US, the independent outage monitor Down Detector said.
Users have expressed their anger on Twitter tonight.
"@Steam_Support Steam appears to be down and out. Error code 118," one said.

"Help, @steam_games is down for some reason," another posted.
"Damn, @steam_games went down pretty fast with the sale's beginning," reads another message on social media.
"@steam_games steam is down helllp," another tweet reads.
Created in 2003, Steam is now the largest digital distribution platform for PC gaming.
