Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) will unveil 10 innovative digital platform projects created by Saudi young men and women.
The move will take place during its participation in GITEX 2019 in Dubai, which will kick off on Sunday, October 6.
It will also unveil 10 other projects that have won STC support through its InspireU incubator in the field of digital payments, technology, economics, education, health, and sports.
They include Solfa project, which is an e-platform for lending small amounts up to SAR5,000 ($1.3 thousand) within just 15 minutes.
This year’s exhibition showcases future digital services and solutions that enrich the lives of individuals and institutions, said Director General of Corporate Communications in STC Mohammed bin Rashid Abalkhail.
He pointed out that STC is not only a telecommunications company but also a digital enabler and key player in the digital transformation in the Kingdom according to its Vision 2030.
The participation in GITEX 2019, Abalkhail noted, will include signing several agreements with major international companies.
Through its strategy, he stressed, STC is primarily focused on the growth of services, platforms and digital infrastructure, taking into account realizing a greater value than its current assets of its employees, brand, customer base, technical assets, and business partners to ensure that sufficient resources are available to invest in future opportunities.
