Within the top 10 was The Stag Lodge a short walk from Bont Dolgadfan, a small village in Powys.
It promises a sweet but fun getaway looking over the Welsh countryside from a cosy wooden lodge.
Outdoor is a hot tub complete with a canopy of fairy lights so you can bathe under the stars in the magical winter nights, although it does cost an extra £20 per night.
Inside, you can cosy up and watch the 65 inch smart TV which has Netflix and has lots of DVDs supplied.
The lodge has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and French doors opening out to the rear decking area, perfect for a morning coffee while the other room is light and airy with two single beds.

At the side of the cabin is a multi gym and exercise bike to work off those mince pies you'll be sneaking in.
It has a blue themed interior and is modern but homely at once with a touch of Scandi interior.
Staying here will make you feel like you are in the snowy hills of Austria rather than south Wales.
The lodge sleeps four and starts at £165 per night.
