Status for Cardinals rookie DE Zach Allen uncertain with shoulder injury

Arizona Cardinals rookie defensive lineman Zach Allen left Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks in the first half with a shoulder injury. he did not return.

However, the injury does not appear to be serious.

On Wednesday, when Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury addressed the media, he said that Allen “has a stinger.”

He said Allen will be limited in practice. “Not sure of his status yet for Sunday,” he said.

The third-round pick has seen his playing drop every game this season. He started the first three games and came off the bench in Week 4 for the first time. He played 62 snaps in Week 1, 44 in Week 2, 35 in Week 3 and only three against the Seahawks.

So far this season, he has eight total tackles and two QB hits.
