The family of Ben Duffy have thanked their local community for support after the youngster's tragic death.
The five-year-old was playing on a small inflatable on Lough Mask on Monday when it drifted from the shore and he fell into the water.
Heartbreakingly, his body was later found by search and rescue crews on Tuesday morning on the northwestern section of the Mayo lake.
Grieving family and friends lined the streets yesterday as the little boy was tragically laid to rest.

A statement has now been issued on behalf of the family through local GAA club CLG Thuar Mhic Éadaigh.
It says: "On behalf of the Duffy family, thanks to all the community groups that came together to pay respects to Ben yesterday.
"CLG Thuar Mhic Éadaigh joined with Partry Athletic AFC, Ballintubber Bulls Basketball Club, Scoil Náisiúnta Thuar Mhic Éadaigh, Naíonra Thuar Mhic Éadaigh, Corrib Mask Search and Rescue, and other local groups to form a united guard of honour.
"Thanks also to An Garda Síochána for providing an escort, and to all the people who stood along the road and who decorated the route with colourful tributes.
"On Monday and Tuesday last, volunteer crews travelled from far and wide to assist in finding Ben.
"One crew came all the way from Limerick. Special thanks to the wonderful people of the Corrib Mask Search and Rescue team, the Irish Coast Guard, An Garda Síochána, River Moy Search and Rescue, Gráinne Uaile Sub Aqua Club, Inland Fisheries Ireland, Civil Defence, other rescue crews, and all the local anglers, boatmen and volunteers who helped in the search.
"Míle buíochas libh go léir."
