Statement issued as Nottingham primary school sends year group bubble home

Children in a year group bubble at a Nottingham primary school have been sent home after a positive Covid case.

The Year 2 bubble at Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School in Aspley will be self-isolating in accordance with PHE guidelines.

Scott Mason, headteacher at Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School, said: "Due to a positive case in school, the Year 2 bubble will be isolating in accordance with PHE guidelines.

"Remote learning will now be offered to all impacted children.

"School remains open to all other children."

Elsewhere, children and staff from a Nottingham school's class have been sent home to self-isolate after a positive Covid case.

Oak Field School in Wigman Road, Bilborough, confirmed the news on its website.

The class has been temporarily closed with pupils and staff told to self isolate for 10 days.
