Police have issued a statement after reports of officers and forensics teams in a residential street in Nottingham.
It has been confirmed a warrant was carried out at an address as part of an investigation into the supply of guns.
An eyewitness told Nottinghamshire Live there had been two police vans and a forensics vehicle in Langdale Road, Bakersfield, at around 7.30am this morning (June 8).
The report also stated officers were seen carrying bags from a property.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Police carried out a warrant in Langdale Road, Nottingham today (Tuesday 8 June) as part of an investigation into the supply of firearms.
"No persons were arrested."
