Engagement: we don’t just list, we curate all the promotions. Our editorial team creates engaging content that informs shoppers about what they’ll find at various sales. Our fashion and beauty blog, Style Journal, keeps our shoppers up to date with the latest trends.
More shopping fans: we’ve grown our database of shoppers from 250,000 12 months ago to 750,000 today. We continue to grow at 20% month on month and over 20,000 shoppers follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
Funding: we were £100,000 oversubscribed for our second round of angel funding, securing a total of £600,000 with 80% of investors from the first round re-investing.
Technology: we’ve developed a highly scalable platform in-house that allows us to understand shopper behaviour across different channels (email, web, mobile, in-store) and across different retailers. Our platform also includes a custom-made personalisation engine and advanced scraping system to collect and filter information so our shoppers can access all promotions but only get alerted to the ones they’re interested in.
Partners: retailers value our ability to drive online traffic, in-store footfall and ultimately sales. Now, 60% of our revenue is from repeat business.
Hiring: we’ve grown from eight people just 12 months ago to a team of 16 now. We have more sales, marketing, editorial and technology staff to grow the business in all these areas.
