Name: Papillon Translations
Based: Newcastle upon Tyne
Website: www.papillontranslations.co.uk

We started trading in April 2014 as a management company for a French translator. We now boast 152 languages and a database of 8,500 freelance native speaking translators.

All our translators are educated to at least MA level in translation and interpreting, and we have embraced in-country translators who provide the crucial local business and cultural knowledge to make potential export products successful.

Our assessment criteria is quite strenuous, and with a drop-off rate of 97% we only employ the highest quality staff. Our main area of innovation is quite simple – we provide all our staff with clear employment terms and conditions, we pay well above the industry standard, and we treat all our translators with the utmost respect and professionalism. No secret really!

In return, we get well above industry standard work, which enables our clients to have absolute trust in our integrity.

Steve Kent is the director of Papillon Translations
