At Harry & Jack’s we create innovative backpacks for children with big imaginations. After a failed search to find a jet pack bag for our eldest son in early 2013, my husband and I put pen to paper and began to draw some ideas. Several drafts later we had created our Adventure Pack Range and decided to see if we could produce our first backpack – Jetpack.
Our designs are our own and born out of a desire to put creative play at the heart of our children’s lives. Upon entering the market in 2014 we wanted to ensure we were credible and prove we had an amazing product that kids would love.
Our approach was to be validated by the market itself. In 12 months our Jetpack received the following accolades: winner of the Imaginative Toy Rainbow Toy Awards, winner of the Gold Award, Loved by Children Awards – Best Travel Invention, Silver Award in the Mumpreneur UK Product Awards, Bronze for New Product to Market Award at the Loved by Children Awards, Winner Preferred Choice Award – Kids Gear & Apparel, Creative Child Awards USA. We were also shortlisted for the Best Travel Product for Children by the Junior Design Awards and featured in the Financial Times Christmas Gift Guide.
Our second in the series, called Scubapack, launched in autumn 2014. We have six further designs in the series. We currently sell direct, and through Amazon and NotOnTheHighStreet.
