I started my business when I became too ill too work and was unable to claim any sickness benefits. I was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and found it impossible to continue as a professional photographer.
In 2013 I successfully funded a crowdfunding project to set up a lampwork and jewellery studio. I went on to gain supporters including Will King, the then chief executive of King of Shaves.
I have grown the business continuously using social media and have loyal customers who look out for me at fairs.
Over the next year I am focussing on growing my digital following and improving my social media marketing. I have also booked more stands than ever before.
