Helping businesses go green has turned to gold for us since starting up a year ago – Discover Energy has enjoyed extraordinary success by installing £1m worth of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels.
We are proud to be leaders and not followers in the industry and our approach has led to us predicting a turnover of £3m in our second year.
Our clients recommend us for installing large solar PV arrays, both ground-mounted and on roofs, but we also make sure we build strong relationships to look after systems long term.
Discover Energy’s success has been achieved through a lean, efficient business model that can quickly adapt to industry changes. We have built a business that isn’t reliant on incentive schemes, energy trading or contracts for operations and maintenance.
We lead the industry in the north of England, a position that is underpinned by our investment in research and development.
We don’t need to rely on PR stunts to generate business. Instead we promote ourselves at agricultural shows, business events and well-attended seminars where we explain our stance on transparency and – unusually for a renewables firm – our offer of collective export agreements so customers can enjoy greater returns.
Discover Energy is made up of a team of four, plus an installation team, and we are looking to double our headcount for greater success.
