'Start the bidding' - Nottingham Forest fans send message to Arsenal after transfer rumour

Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to the latest piece of transfer gossip linking one of their players with a move away.

Reds Defender Joe Worrall is reportedly attracting interest from , ahead of a potential move in the January transfer window.

It is being claimed that Arsenal will have scouts in attendance for Forest’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday night in order to watch Worrall in action.

Worrall has been in fine form for Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds this season, featuring in all 16 of their league fixtures so far.

The Nigel Doughty Academy graduate also captained the Reds for their Carabao Cup ties against Fleetwood Town and Derby County, but he did not feature in the third round clash against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in September.

Here is a selection of what Forest have had had to say about the transfer rumour.

Richard Lewis: “Lad's forest through and through so isn't going to happen.”

Ivor Nopinion: “If the going rate for Harry Maguire is 80 million, then we will start the bidding at 81 million..”

Steve Musson: “Let's hope that all the players have a solid commitment to getting Forest up to the Premiership & wait until the summer before they wander off.”

Alison Kent: “Don't go Joe they will never love you like we do.”

Josh: “If we’re actually thinking about selling Worrall we could easily push to £30 million. We have no need to sell him so if they are seriously interested just do that. Also same with Cash. I know it sounds stupid but if they want them pay what’s wanted.”

Lee Kirby: “£35million please.”

Pierce: "Worrall is one of the best defenders in championship right now."
