Antonio Rudiger has been a big miss in the Chelsea back-line.
The German centre-back has not played since the end of April, having suffered a knee injury during the game with Manchester United.
Rudiger had surgery on his knee and has spent the summer in rehabilitation, working on his fitness for the new campaign.
He has missed the opening two games of the Premier League, but is closing in on a return to the first team.
Rudiger was back out on the pitch for the U23s on Monday night, as Chelsea took on Liverpool in the Premier League 2.
And the 26-year-old got a full 90 minutes under his belt as the Blues ran out 3-0 winners, with Michy Batshuayi scoring a brace to hand Frank Lampard a selection headache.
But while the Belgian striker staked his claim for a place in the starting lineup moving forward, it was Rudiger's return to action that got th Blues fans excited.
Chelsea have not won so far this season, losing their opening game of the season against Manchester United and then drawing with Leicester on Sunday.
They have conceded five goals in those two matches and the fans are desperate to see Rudiger back in the first team sooner rather than later.
Here's how they reacted to Rudiger's U23s match on Monday night.
Saturday's lunchtime kick-off against Norwich is likely to be too soon for the German international, but it will not be long before the Blues fans see Rudiger back in the first team.
