'Start of something special!' - Arsenal fans love what Mikel Arteta has done against Bournemouth

Mikel Arteta's team selection for this afternoon's Premier League game against Bournemouth has got a number of Arsenal fans talking.

As expected, the Spaniard is without Calum Chambers for his first outing as Gunners head coach because of suspension.

The centre-back has been somewhat of a lucky charm for the north London outfit this season as he's started both games in which the side has managed to keep a clean sheet away from home in the league.

In Chambers' place, Arteta has opted to recall Sokratis - who missed the goalless draw against Everton last time out as he was serving a suspension of his own.

That's the only alteration to a back four which once again includes Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka operating at full-back.

There is a recall for Mesut Ozil - just like he hinted on Instagram earlier in the day - as he takes the place of Emile Smith Rowe, while Reiss Nelson keeps his place over Nicolas Pepe.

Alexandre Lacazette is also back in a Premier League line-up for the first time since the 2-1 home defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion at the beginning of the month.

In total, Arteta has made three changes to the side which drew blank against the Toffees and this is set to mean captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang operates from the left-wing.
