'Start Leno' - Arsenal fans react to reports that Petr Cech is returning to Chelsea

Arsenal fans have been reacting to reports that Petr Cech is to return to his former club at the end of the season.

The goalkeeper is reportedly returning to Stamford Bridge to take up a sporting director role at the club he made almost 500 appearances for.

Cech announced earlier in the season that he was retiring come the end of the campaign after a nearly 20-year career. The player joined Arsenal from Chelsea in 2015, and has mainly been used as a backup to first choice goalkeeper Bernd Leno this season, but he has found game more easy to come by in the Gunners' run to the Europa League final.

Cech has played in the club's last eight games in the competition, including the semi-final win over Valencia earlier in the month.

Arsenal now face Chelsea, Cech's former club, in the final on May 29th a game which would be Cech's last professional appearance should he play as expected.

But now, following the news of the players potential return to his old club, a lot of Arsenal fans are pointing out a potential problem of giving him one final game. Would his lloyalty lie somewhere else other than helping his current club to lift European silverware?

While it is highly unlikely that the goalkeeper's future will be on his mind during such a big game, some fans are not willing to take the chance and are calling on manager Unai Emery to think about starting first choice Leno against the Blues.
