'Start him' - Arsenal fans have one request for Unai Emery ahead of Sheffield United trip

Arsenal have received a massive boost over the international break, with the news that striker Alexandre Lacazette has returned to full training.

The Frenchman has been out of action for a month with an ankle injury, and has been undergoing rehabilitation in order to make a swift return to action.

Lacazette started the season in good form, scoring two goals in his three Premier League games of the season, despite it being revealed that he was playing while carrying the ankle injury that saw him sit out the last four league matches.

Speaking before Monday night's match against Sheffield United, Arsenal boss Unai Emery revealed that the striker should be available for action having returned to full training over the international break.

"Today was his first session with us and he's feeling well with his injury," he said. "It depends on how he feels in the coming days whether he'll feature on Monday but it's been a positive start.

"I don't know if he will play 90 minutes or start on the bench."

Ahead of the match at Bramall Lane, Arsenal posted a tweet showing Lacazette taking part in training, with the caption: "Returning. Retuning. Working hard."

Gunners ' fans were quick to respond to the message from the club, and while they were full of excitement for the striker's return, others used the opportunity to send a request to manager Unai Emery.

Lacazette is likely to make his comeback when Arsenal face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Monday evening.
