Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts has played in the Premier League and represented Wales at senior level.
Despite being still relatively young at 21, he has come up against some formidable opponents already in his career.
But he has now revealed that the most nervous moment of his career was when he first became teammates with Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
Roberts, who has notched three goals for the Whites this term, linked up with Wales as a youngster and has spoken of the personal impact that Welsh captain Bale has had on his career.
Roberts was taking part in a Q&A on the official LUFC website, and was asked about a range of topics.
These included his first pair of boots, the first match he attended and the best goal of his career.
Roberts was also quizzed on who was the best player he has played with.
And the Welsh international revealed that his compatriot Bale came top of the list, not only because of his talents but also for handing out advice to Roberts at a young age.
“It would have to be Gareth Bale," Roberts said.
"The first few times I linked up with the senior side with Wales I was starstruck.
"It was like 'wow he’s actually there and he’s my teammate'. It was crazy, but then you’ve got to play with him and he’s just another player, you can’t treat him any different on the pitch.
"It is great to learn off him and be around someone who has done so much in the game.
"I trained with the Wales side before they went to the Euros in 2016 and after that training camp he had a word with me.
"He could see I was talented and spoke about how important it was to work hard and listen to the right coaches and not to get too far ahead of myself.
"It was nice to hear that from him and that he took the time to come and say that when I was 15/16.”
