Starstruck Stormzy's fanboy moment as he meets Billie Eilish at BRIT Awards 2020

Even celebrities as big as Stormzy still get starstruck now and then - which is what happened when he met Billie Eilish at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday night.

The British Male Solo Artist winner, 26, was almost completely lost for words when he crashed an interview with Billie backstage.

Stormzy didn't hold back when he bumped into the songstress, 18, during the awards ceremony, and had no shame in hiding his fanboy moment.

"You are f**king brilliant. Every time I listen to a new song of yours, I go onto A-Z lyrics and I read it. And I'm just like, 'Bruv, she's brilliant,'" he gushed to the red-faced Bad Guy singer.

He marched over to the singer with so much energy and looked super-excited to have a chat with her as he interrupted her interview.

Billie, who playfully grabbed the rapper's wrist, said to him: "I'm gonna cry!"

Stormzy, real name Michael Omari, explained how much he enjoyed looking up the lyrics to Billie's songs and used hilarious hand actions to describe his point.

He continued, "You're too hard, you're so hard it doesn't even matter. You're too hard, she's too hard," before he walked away from the cameras and shouted: "Sorry to crash that!"

Last night's 40th BRIT Awards saw Billie take to the stage and perform her new James Bond theme tune for the first time.

Fans of the young performer were stunned by her stunning vocal skills.

"18 year old Billie Eilish performing her new James Bond theme tune with Hans Zimmer at the Brits is a level of cool no mere mortal can reach," wrote one excited fan.

" @billieeilish we are not worthy, that voice, instant goosebumps  #brits," wrote another.

Another joked: "swear i’m not crying at billie and finneas at the brits performing  #NoTimeToDie @billieeilish @finneas"
